Brainstorming For Our Future: Ideas For Addressing Concerns Of Commodity Grain Growers In The U.S. During The Covid-19 Crisis

This is an important time in the agri-food space as people around the globe are exploring the impacts of the Covid-19 crises and its impact on food accessibility and our agri-food system. Many of these questions do not yet have clear answers, but farmers across the U.S. don’t have  time to wait for clarity as planting 2020 is quickly approaching.

The situation that we face today is unprecedented. Our thinking must match its novelty. I recently wrote an article on some of the main topics that grain growers in the U.S. are thinking about during this time. A short brainstorming session resulted in some initial thoughts and ideas.

Hopefully this encourages additional ideas and creative thinking to address agri-food system issues.
